Crush sleeve no longer available?
PSA: Went to buy all my parts to get the R&P changed over only to find that the crush sleeve, part number 0324-27-171 is no longer available through Mazda according to the dealer. Well that sucks... After making a call to Weir Performance Engineering and talking with Spence he's still selling the solid kits. Get them while you still can I guess.

Yikes. I only found out about the Weir solid sleeve the day after I dropped my diff off to be built. Sadly it was already done before I could request an all-stop on the services. Basically, we just have to order through third party until stocks depleat? Is this something that china may pick up or is the s2000 one intercompatible (or is that only for MSM diff parts)

But I (well silentoreo34 and I) just ordered and recieved one like 2 weeks ago? Did we get the last one?
Call Mike, hes the one that sold it to us through a local dealer. Mike's Place/Miata Mecca (602) 253-1136 |

Mazdacomp shows M035-27-171 as the correct number for a '99 and it's available.

Using Andrews number, Mike has 7 in stock, and he was out when we got ours 2 weeks ago. So those 7 were purchased since then.... for whatever thats worth

I pulled some 4.78's from a Kia Sportage and the crush sleeve was identical, though it appears not to get crushed as far in the Kia application. But you could check with Kia dealers. Alternatively, since the Kia piece is still plenty long to crush, OP is welcome to the one in my trash can ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
Why would you use a stock crush sleeve if its not required by your class? The Weir one is so cheap and so easy to setup.
