Anybody who knows the diamater of the bolt circle on a 1.8 diff? (The red circle)
Surely someone has an open case lying around and wouldn't mind measuring :)

anyone, anyone, Bueller?

Engineer's answer: exactly double the radius.

*sorry, I couldn't resist*

mmm, now if you could tell me the radius, I'd be happy too. Heck, for all I care, you tell me the circumference.

Using a more accurate instrument, it is actually closer to 7 and 15/16 inches.

$10 says it's called out as 200mm center-center.

Thanks a bunch Gary!! really helpful. By measuring the distance between 2 bolts (77mm) I calculated the diameter to be 201.2mm
I figured it was probably 200mm since Jap stuff is metric, which means that the distance between 2 bolts is really 76.5mm, not 77mm :)

Glad my measuring tool satisfied.
