drivetrain advice/easy questions

so i dont post much, iv limited myself to strictly reading and searching constantly. But i seem to be stuck with a lack of information, i have done searching and my results have been limited. but lets just say for the sake of discussion, i have all the money needed, and i can do this right now.

but lets say i want to pull out 450hp, the engine is built, and the turbo kit is already setup. (this information i have found without a problem)

but everything past the engine is where i want to bulletproof. especially for moderate track use, but streetable

what i have come up with so far, is a quaife transmission (althought i am asking for more information on the product directly from them, if you have any answers for me then please let me know) and possibly an FD II rear end.

my questions are, is this set up reliable? is there a cheaper solution thats just as reliable if not more? what are the gearing options for the quaife trans? would it make a solid track set up? also, ballpark figure each of your suggestions in cash if you dont mind.

thanks a lot guys, i sense a flaming, but just hope i can get the answers to these questions

perhaps a straight cut gearset from another company, but probably just as expensive. the 6 msm speeds are quite a bit cheaper and usually don't break even with 450whp

what are the gearing options for the quaife trans?that info is posted on flyin miata site as well as many others. search.

would it make a solid track set up? also, ballpark figure each of your suggestions in cash if you dont mind. a full on straight cut gearset? UMM, ya, should be reliable enough to track lol

quick answers in bold for ya.
You ALREADY know you'll get flamed a little for your completely lazy questions. C'mon now: this is like 1st grade stuff.

so an MSM 6 speed can handle 450hp? that would be awesome.

what about for diffs, is an rx7 rear end probably the only good option then?

You want a great deal on a good diff capable of 400+?

Contact JayL. He's selling a very nice rx7 clutch type with 3.6 cry-o'd gears for a good price right now. That would be great for your goals.
