Well DUH, they are driving a Miata! And Dildos are expensive these days. Can't cut corners on those.

Want to save money? First off, don't shop at FM.

Post up a cheaper alternative to the FM1 that is just as good in every respect.

FM is what it is. The prices definitely aren't good, but what you get for the money is guaranteed to work, and work very well.

So why spend money on something thats not guaranteed to work.. probably not going to work at all?

So to be clear: you're saving $100, then spending $50 of it to have your inferior product re-surfaced for no other reason besides it being a crappy knockoff made without any sort of proper quality control, and that's OK with you over getting a proper name brand part to begin with?

Mind - blown

Wait you resurfaced a brand new fly wheel before first use?

I had already purchased the F1 stage 3 kit with lwfw. I obliterated it when I turned the 2560 up to 8psi. When I removed the flywheel I had it machined for the FM1. The only reason I would say resurface it is because it is because they come with some sort of glaze that I couldn't get off for the life of me. I tried every spray under the sun. Once I got it resurfaced it was much better. Too be even more clear I resurfaced the fw twice. 1st time for the F1 2nd time for the FM1. If I had to do it again I would get the FM1 happy meal with lwfw and be done with it. Dropping transmissions is a bitch.

EDIT: Someone would should fix this because its misleading.

There isn't one believe me I've checked. Even the Comp Clutches ironically are not cheaper than the FM1. Yet FM uses Comp Clutch to manufacture their FM1 and FM2 both rated for more tq. than any clutch Comp Clutch has for the miata not affiliated with FM. The FM Clutch is a fully developed clutch.

I posted this a few days ago but see post 4 if you don't believe me.

As a side note FM also sells Spal Fans with a shroud cheaper than the price of 2 Spal fans if buying through Spal. Stealth97 if you do your research they really aren't ripping anyone off. Id like to think they are buying in bulk and rebranding it to make an honest profit.
