Want to save money? First off, don't shop at FM.

Post up a cheaper alternative to the FM1 that is just as good in every respect. |
FM is what it is. The prices definitely aren't good, but what you get for the money is guaranteed to work, and work very well.

So to be clear: you're saving $100, then spending $50 of it to have your inferior product re-surfaced for no other reason besides it being a crappy knockoff made without any sort of proper quality control, and that's OK with you over getting a proper name brand part to begin with?
Mind - blown

Post up a cheaper alternative to the FM1 that is just as good in every respect. There isn't one believe me I've checked. Even the Comp Clutches ironically are not cheaper than the FM1. Yet FM uses Comp Clutch to manufacture their FM1 and FM2 both rated for more tq. than any clutch Comp Clutch has for the miata not affiliated with FM. The FM Clutch is a fully developed clutch. I posted this a few days ago but see post 4 if you don't believe me. Competition Clutch - MX-5 Miata Forum Link to Similar Comp Clutch for 600 bucks CompClutch Mazda Miata Stage 2 Clutch With Flywheel Kit 1994-2005 VS FM1 for 350 bucks Flyin' Miata : Engine/Drivetrain : Transmission : FM Level 1 clutch As a side note FM also sells Spal Fans with a shroud cheaper than the price of 2 Spal fans if buying through Spal. Stealth97 if you do your research they really aren't ripping anyone off. Id like to think they are buying in bulk and rebranding it to make an honest profit. |
