emergency tech!!!! help!!! diff/tranny ???

okay, here's the deal. i have a chance at an msm torsen and six speed tranny for SUPER CHEAP! problem is i have to replace them with parts from my '95. if i swap the diff., will i have to swap axles also? if so, will they fit? obviously the mazdaspeed has abs, but mine doesn't, is that a problem?
next thing is i would LOVE to get the 6 speed tranny. but is it a direct replacement? will the speedometer cables plug in? (i don't even know if it works like that on these cars, but on hondas and mitsu's i've had and worked on, the cable went into a port on the transmission). also, my car has an act clutch that works awesome, and a fidanza flywheel. do i have to swap those out also? that would suck going to stock flywheel/clutch setup, but the mazdaspeed is making the same hp as mine and seems to be holding fine.
the emergency part is, i can get these parts, but i have to swap them tonight! and i'll have a few hours tomorrow morning. otherwise, he'll be out of town and then giving the car to his sister. so if any of you guy's know the answer's to any of these questions lmk asap!!!
i'll work all night if i have to! i'm just trying to keep from stripping parts off and finding out that nothing's gonna fit.
thanks in advance

MSM have bigger halfshafts, get those too. Why not unbolt the entire drivetrain from the tranny back (including subframe and suspension) as one piece and just bolt your old one in? should be much easier (belhousing bolts, diff bolts, subframe bolts, the upper shock hats, brake lines) than taking everything else apart.

so will my halfshafts work on his car without problems? spline size and teeth the same? he asked me about the abs but i hoped that sensor would be read from the hub and not the axle. another reason why i don't think i can change everything out. plus i have s.s. brakelines. and different shock spring setup i don't want to swap out.

The 6 speed is a direct swap. I've heard people say that you need the 6 speed trans plate but you dont. I just did it this past weekend. Make sure you get the shifter as your 5 speed one will not work. For the speedo, you will need the mechanical speedo unit out of the 5 speed and swap it with the electronic one on the 6 speed. It's easy though, one bolt.

awesome info! that's exactly what i needed to know. i knew that i could put the 6spd in my car. what i wasn't sure of was if my 5spd. would work right in my buddies msm. unfortunately, the car is gone and i wasn't able to get the info i needed in time. i'll never get that kind of chance again. $150 for the 6spd.!
