ES Diff mounts can be installed without removing diff or driveshaft
FYI
I followed the recommendation I found on the MSM site. I lowered the diff but did not actually remove it from the car. I had to remove the chassis braces under the diff. and halfway down the PPF and the muffler mounts. The Air hammer made it so easy - used the pointed pen like attachment and pushed the old bushings out of the carrier at only 2 contact points (this is on a Canadian car that has seen winters and salt) Getting the old ones off the mounting shaft and out of the carrier at the same time was a little bit of a fight as I could have used a bit more clearance. More NVH on the highway and some in town. (I have a high mile car so that may contribute) Overall it wasn't to bad of a job. |
