Fc diff swap backlash question

Ok I swear up and down I've searched, yahoo and google, and still haven't found out any ifo on this.

Now I'm doing the fc diff swap. I have nb one piece axles, fc circlips, diff seals, fc rear housing, 1.8 front, mazdaspeed ring and pinion for 1.8, and a mfr 1.5 clutch type LSD for na fc's.

Now I'm pretty positive that's all the parts? But more importantly, what do I set the backlash to?! I've lurked everywhere... Read as many posts as I could handle.

So do I set the backlash and pinion depth to 1.8 or fc? And whichever it is, does anybody know the specs?

Thanks for any and all help guys

Ring gear backlash (0.0036-0.0043)

Bearing preload (7.3004-7.3031)

Bearing cap bolt torque (27-38 ft-lb)

Lock plates on bearing caps (13-19 ft-lb)

The ten bolts that hold the ring gear to the differential (51-61 ft-lb)

Not that I doubt you because of your post count, but can anybody confirm this?

Also if I'm using nb one piece axles and the s5 diff housing, which seals and circlips do I use? I only ask because the super detailed thread on how to do it was using the s4 housing and when linking to which seals to buy, it said to get the miata seals and s4 clips.

Just making sure I only have to do this once, thanks guys.

Those numbers are from the FSM.

Here is the article I wrote for miata.net R&R of a differential

You will need to use the RX-7 circle clips, not sure about the seals as I used a miata housing.

those numbers look ok and are definitely in the FSM.
