Default Front strut bar

I was thinking of keeping the strut bar off during the install of my FCM coilovers. My main reason is it is a PIA to get to the top shock bolts but I also hear it does not do much so it would be nice to save some weight in the car. I am also installing door bars and a roll bar at the same time. The specs of the FCM coilovers are 450F/325R. I have a FM front sway bar with the stock rear bar as well. Thanks for the input

A bar that runs from strut-to-strut will only add stiffness lateral so you will not see a huge gain with this type of strut bar. However if you were to tie it into the firewall you should (in theory) see pretty significant increases in stiffness across the area. This is due to the forces being exerted on different parts of the vehicle and with the firewall it makes a good anchor that will not have any give to increase the overall stiffness of the entire system. End my ramble...

Yeah its just the Stock bar so it does not tie in with the firewall. But I see your point
