Well, I replaced all my eccentric bolts, and swapped my OE front lower ball joints for extended lower ball joints. I marked my alignment points before tearing into it, & put it back together exactly where it was. The car is completely undriveable now. It tries to jump off the road a the least imperfection in the road, and the tires scream at any speed above 10 mph.

Any quick & dirty alignment tricks to get me stable enough to drive to the alignment shop?

A tape measure. Adjust things until the tires are straight. Measure from a specific tread on both front wheels, fore and aft of the axle. Not too hard.

Example :
Current alignment is 67" fore and 70 aft.
You need 68.5

Ha, yeah that was a dumb question on reflection. I used the string method to adjust the tie rods out. I had 1&11/16" total front toe! I dialed it back down to about 1/8" which should be good enough to get me 5 miles down the road for an alignment.

The easy way for the fronts is to just max out both camber adjusters and use some make shift toe plates to get the toe close enough.
Getting the rear and the thrust angle even close enough to drive without basically just aligning the whole car yourself is pure luck from my experience.

I got it road worthy again. I had to crank the toe way back out. Alignment appointment is Saturday, and I'm driving it to work in the mean time.
