Google-fu fail: what diff is this?

By what I can find, this looks like a type 2, but it doesn't have the little hole through the middle. What is this?

Are all the helical gears inside parallel?

If so, it's either a Torsen2, or at least one of the similar torque biasing ones made over the years.

I know OBX made a T2 style centre years ago (I had one kicking around in the shed for a while)

I presume the spline count/size is the same as the standard 1.8 setup? if it's larger it's likely to be one of the Fuji diffs from the NB SE.

Based on what I've heard, the "little" hole in the T2 wasn't there in very early models. The washers and friction plates in the center go smaller and smaller holes as they were updated. That is likely an early T2 because the gears are parallel. T1's had roll pins on the outside of the housing to retain the perpendicular gears.

thanks for the replies! My hypothesis was that this might be an early T2,
