Well I have another question... how far do I compress the upper bushing above the shock mount? There really is no specification that I can find :vash:

FCM has their own process but I don't know how it will apply to factory bushings and whatnot and of course the GC manual is far from useful.

Anyhow, getting close to moving my friend's car out of the garage and am aiming to install these guys tomorrow evening.

i usually just tighten it by hand to about 30-40 lbs

Do you use vice-grips to pre-load the upper bushing "sandwich" or just hold the shaft and crank it down?
