Default Clutch Problem please help

I have an NA with a greddy that is tuned up to about 9 psi right now and it has a Gripforce F1 Stage 3 clutch. Info here if needed F1 Racing Stage 3 Clutch Kit 350z 03-06 [F1-51026R3-SS] - $297.00 : Gripforce, The Clutch & Brake Specialists Next time I will get an ACT.

I was driving home a few minutes ago and it is really cold for atlanta, about 20 degrees. I pushed it a little in third gear and then took it out of gear to come to a stop sign. It was a little harder then normal to get it out of gear and when I came to the stop sign I couldn't get it back into first. After pushing the clutch maybe 10 or 20 times it went into gear and I limped home. It engages WAY to fast and the car dies almost instantly. Also because the clutch pedal seems much looser. This really sucks because I have to leave at 4:30 tommorrow morning to go to the airport. I'm gonna go try it again in a few minutes to see if I need to find alternate transportation but does anybody have any ideas? Oh, I also just got it running right again. It was running like crap for the last few months until I replaced the Walbro. Thanks.

Sounds like the slave is going out or you have a clutch line leak.

You either have a bad leak in the system or air in the system. Did you remove the master or slave cylinder? Are their any signs of leakage? Is the clutch master cylinder ever lost any fluid? has it ever ran low? If you get any air in the master, you have to remove it and bench bleed it. Sounds like you did a clutch and unhooked the slave and didn't bleed it when you reinstalled it.

HINT: if you search here for bench bleed clutch and my user name, you'll find I've posted exactly how to do this several times.

I have an up date to what happened. I went back out to the car late the night before I had my flight. It worked just fine, it was a little sticky on the bottom of the pedal so it was a little tougher to drive but not much. Then I got home and drove it twice and it happened again. I just had it towed to my house. I need to figure out what is wrong with it, so that I can get it fixed. I am really hoping it's not the gripforce, i heard they have problems with throw out bearings going out. If it's not that I'm not really sure what to do except buy a new clutch and get it installed. I didn't do it last time but I would like to try it myself but i don't have a lift or anybody to help me. Anyway, thanks for the advice.

Before you go to the hassle spending the money and changing the clutch, an easier solution would to be check the lines, master and slave cylinders, and fluid.

Seriously, what's up with people lately on here asking for advice, getting the right advice, NOT doing exactly what was recommended, and then coming back and asking for advice again???

I didn't say that I wasn't going to take the advice, that is what I will be doing tommorrow when it is a little warmer. I have a feeling it might be Slave but I'll see in the morning. I guess I didn't think I needed to say that. I apreciate your advice that is why I thanked you for it.

So I bought a new slave and just replaced it, but the problem is not fixed. When I got down there the boot had a huge hole in it so the fluid was just flowing out so I figured that was the problem. So I replaced it and bled the system until it was clear. Well my pedal is still very loose and it still won't go into gear. I got down there again and took off the slave and noticed that the lever that the slave pushes was totally loose so it was not pushing back on the slave. Essentially it was pushed out by the slave all the time. I pulled back the boot that covers that lever and felt around to see if there was any debris or disconnection but I couldn't feel anything. So... I don't know what is wrong with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to bench bleed the master cylinder. That's your problem. Go fix it and report back so I can tell you I told you so.

Wow, same **** happened to me. Exact same symptoms to a T.

Whats the result?
Did you do as recommended? Find the problem to be something else?

Would be nice to report back results so when people search for info you can share...

So whats up?
