okay, similar question:

Are the spares betweeen the 1.6 and 1.8 cars the same? I don't have a spare, and i upgraded my 91's brakes to 1.8 brakes.

If you lose a front wheel swap one from the back and put the spare in its place.

Just do what I do then, carry the spare and a can of fix a flat. I know the **** isnt good for tires, but sometimes you need to get going quickly, like in rain or if going out, and dont have time or attire to swap tires.

uhm no. 4 wheel big brakes.
and depending on type of LSD, possibly not advisable even if it did fit fit.

Yeah, The 11 inch discs with Rx7 calipers out back preclude me from using a spare under 15 inches...**** it, I carry that tire fill goo can ****...sorry to the tire changer guy, but I need to get my car rolling and it weighs less than a spare....

Just hope the tire doesn't rip or shred...

You and your ilk were the bane of my existence when I worked as a tire jockey.

Just make sure to let the guys at the shop know that the damn tire has fix-a-flat in it before they pop the valve stem out and fix-a-flat sprays them in the face.

Yes, that would be a problem. But if you have a torsen it doesnt matter what tires are on it, trust me.

I actually carry a little patching kit, the ones with the rubber strips to plug holes. I've used multiples times with great success, in fact two of my DD tires have the plugs in them with over 4 years on them.

although, you gotta fill the tire back up with air after your done, and most times a flat on the highway isn't from a little nail your contractor left behind in your driveway.

I've had sidewall failures on 2 different cars. rather would have a spare in case. I do carry a plug kit and mini compressor in my DD.
