Default Tire rubbing inside fender bump, need help

Hey guys, I'm lowered a bunch in the front, and my tires are rubbing when i'm cornering.

I'm running 15x7, 205/50/15

I like the ride height so i'm not getting it up.

The tire is only rubbing on hard cornering, INSIDE the fender (not on the outside, a roll would not affect it), it's rubbing on the "bump" (see attached photo).

I've done some research, and this bump is basically hiding the blue cable for airbag sensors. My problem is, I can't simply remove the cable because I run this car on the street and need the airbags. What is the way to get it out of the way ?

Is there a DIY somewhere, or what do you recommend ? Dremel the bump off, pop rivet a plastic piece on it and tuck the wire on the plate ?

Thanks guys

You can tuck the cable farther up in the fender, then trim the liner.

Would a 5 millimeter spacer help?

+1 tiny wheel spacer. It looks like it's barely rubbing, and like you said, only during extreme articulation.

remove things, move things, hit things with hammers. If that doesnt fix it, then make your bump stops longer.

I'm not entirely sure a spacer would cut it.

+ if I put a spacer, i encounter a new problem, The bolts holding the fender to the mud guard will be hitting the tire. Any help with that ?

Also, If I plan on tucking the blue cable, Do i need to remove the whole fender to access it ?

No you dont have to remove the fender, just the fender liner. And there's some decently convenient holes to zip tie it up next to the chassis rail rather than under it.

How about a 5mm spacer under the bump stop?

I have those on my VMaxxes, I still rub at 12.25" in the front while cornering and hitting a bump. :(

Then it isn't because they don't help, but rather that you do not have enough of them.

I have airbags in my car. I didn't see any wires behind that bit when I cut it off with a box knife. It took about 15 seconds on each side.
