ISC/bilstein combo question
For those who've run ISC top hats in front with Bilsteins have you had any issues with fender rubbing with a 205/50/15?
No. Top hats don't effect fender/ tire clearance.
Mine did, but that was with Koni's. NB top hats and a bit of 4x4 stance kept the tires off the fenders.

If you have non adjustable springs I can see it, but if you have sleeves care to explain how it effects fender clearance?
Because you want to hit the bump stops before coil bind or tire rub. The ISC top hats made the bumpstops fairly useless, as the fenders did a better job of limiting travel.

I have isc tops and I hit the stops before coil bind...

if they allow the shock to travel further into the body, thus allowing the tire to travel further into the fender wall, they certainly do affect fender/tire clearance. |
I've run taller than ISC hats in front without rubbing. The 670# spring rate helps with that, however.
I'm planning on running 450# or 550# springs.
Well if it helps I ran the tops with bils and 550's in the front and did not rub with un rolled fenders on 15x7 +35 and 205/50/15 a032r.
I run NB mounts up front w/ 450# springs, 36mm FCM bumps (on Bilsteins)and am at 12" front for ride height. I do rub some of the parts that sort of project into the wells, but only during hard turns in autocross. ISCs give alot more travel than NB mounts though, so you might get some rub if your rates are too soft.
I'm debating-I made some 3/8 inch shock mount spacers. It might be safer to limit front shock travel a bit.
