I bought these instead of buying oem replacements for pretty much the same cost, my frame rails scrape almost every speed bump in parking lots. I removed the helper spring and have about an inch before riding on bump stops and it rides way better than any car I have been in with coilovers. They're aren't as bouncy due to the soft springs but they're stiff enough to keep me from bottoming out while driving.
I'm riding on 15x7 195/50/15 toyo's.

It will get raised when I get some spacers for these cheap wheels I got. I don't track my car or plan on doing it anytime soon and I like it this low.
The point of my post wasn't to tell you my car is low, it was to inform that these can go stupid low and still ride just fine, mine have probably 5k miles on them so far without any issues.
Albumleaf, care to explain how you know racelands aren't decent?

Well for your taste they are decent as they are adjustable. All you keep writing about is ride height, not handling improvement which IMHO is the main characteristic of a suspension mod. As I mention before most of the member here would rather do any real driving on stock suspension. However there have not been any track testing on the Racelands, maybe someone should take them to the track and see what they're all about.

Maybe that should be done before you judge them without having had them on your own car? I did mention they were stiffer than stock without being bouncy.
Feels similar to a 240sx I had with tokico blues and eibach springs, stiffer than stock, removing a lot of body roll but not bouncing all over the place.

Having had them on my car for 1000 miles now I can SAFELY say that the car FEELS much better taking corners and driving it around town. I know that doesn't ammount to much, but I am CERTAIN that they are not any worse or same as stock suspension. They are better. No doubt about it.
Probably not MUCH better and probably nowhere near what real coil overs offer, but as stated 10000000000000000000000 TIMES BEFORE: NO ONE THAT HAS THEM CARES. They're better than stock for an insanely low price. Anyone that wants performance shouldn't be looking at 200 dollar coilovers. Its like looking for 2000 dollar ferrari.

I've gotten stuck once getting out of an apt. complex, had a big speed bump, sharp dip and then a even bigger speed bump, I had to go out through the exit after my friend sat on the trunk so I could get unstuck.
Some guy walking by was all looking under the car trying to see why it was making scraping noises lol.

Keep in mind that these were around for other cars LONG before they made them for miata's.
if they last me 10k miles I'll be happy. By that logic the brand name ones should last you 100-200k miles? How many people you know with that much mileage on their coilovers?

There are people with well over 10k miles on theirs in day to day driving and still working 100% like they did the 1st day.
Keep in mind that these were around for other cars LONG before they made them for miata's.

My point was, I would rather spend 10x as much and not have to deal with them again for 60k-100k miles. I'm lazy and richer than an emperor, so it's no big deal. I just hate working on suspension. If they last 30k miles, I think that would be good enough for the cost.

I'd rather have a car that looks good and goes fast then one that is slower a ******* prius and stock looking.

What do you do with it? Drive it around town slower than a slug on sedatives. Why wouldn't these coilovers work for you? Or would you just rather dream about **** for 10 years while everyone buys, mods, sells their miata's the whole time posting on the internet how you "will do this and do that" with expensive baller parts.

Ok, the Riceland are right for the price and stiffer than stock suspension, and so are ebay coilovers- for only $24.99, beat that.
Before all the Raceland users flame I really dont mean to hate, if the product meets your expectations then great!. Im not fortunate to have the ability to dump $1.5k+ in a suspension setting without having to save for many months, so I'm all for cheap/effective products.
To date there has not been failure with the Racelands, and I'm not hoping they fail. 18 I agree with your Ferrari analogy. I think we can say that the Racelands so far seem sound on street/daily/non-competitive use. However in the end it comes down to what a particular individual's goals are.

The problem with the 25 dollar spring/sleeve setup is that you have to put them on a stock shock. Most have blown stock shocks. The other problem is that the springs are WAYY too stiff of the stock shocks. so you basically don't get any kind of valving whatsoever, just sitting on spring. These things while not engineered to be properly matched for one another are still somewhat decent in spring-to-shock ratio (if that makes any sense lol)
