KVR python

So I have these brakes on the front of my '97. In short, they blow. I faded them out very quickly in one drive over VA58 (fast in parts(but way less than track speed mind you), with hard braking down to 20mph or less, and I drive flat out. (lol)) I'm looking for some insight as to what I should do, so far the only pads I can find for these calipers are the KVR "Street performance carbon pads," which as I said before, blow. They overheat way too fast, even at an auto-x last month. Are there any other pads that fit, or am I looking at selling these and upgrading to a caliper with better pad availability? Before any smart remarks, I have already emailed KVR with no response as of yet.

You're a little retarded, aren't you?

You're braking too much?

The pads they use have to be similar to something else. Some of the Chinese brake companies use the same pads that wilwood uses.

Although, looking at their site it says "Brakes that make horse power!". I think you should buy a new big brake kit.

I've been here long enough to know this means you "love" me ;)

I had one of the "miata guys" at the auto-x drive it, he asked what was up with my brakes...

Based on my looking around, I have come to the same conclusion. That new setup 949 has looks pretty nice, within my price range too. Perhaps the wilwood caliper kit with corrado rotors...

I played with a set of those calipers in a BMW E30 M3 version…IIRC the pads cross referenced to something readily available. However the thickness of the compound was changed. I don't recall the pistons having dust seals FWIW.
