Leaking 6 speed transmission

I've just installed a 6 Speed transmission in my na8, and now the transmission started leaking between the back part and the main part of it.
It is definitely coming from this area and not from anywhere above or so.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Is there any kind of sealant I can use to seal it from outside without taking the transmission apart?
What are your experiences?
I definitely don't want to pull the transmission again.

Mine leaks from there too. Not worth fixing in my opinion, just make sure it stays full and if you care about oil spots in the garage put some cardboard underneath.

I don't care about oil spots, but I don't want to crawl under my car regularly to top up my transmission fluid

Good thing you can refill 6 speeds from the shifter turret :)
the only way I can see resealing that part is taking the tail shaft portion off and using rtv

I just bought a used one for my '95. Common leak. You take out the bolts and it comes right up. Easier to rtv than a oil pan. You will be pulling the transmission to do this.

Wow, I thought just 5 speeds can get filled from the shifter, but seems I got this the wrong way around

Have you already done it?

Yes literally just did this a couple weeks ago for my car with 6 speed. Pull trans. Sit it with tailshaft up. Remove down facing bolts. Look in shifter turret and you may have a 10mm bolt to remove so end of shifter doesn't block you removing tail shaft. Remove speed sensor, neutral switch from tail housing. Pry housing up and off. Clean clean clean clean clean mating surfaces for zero oil. Lay a bead of RTV around bolt holes and mating surface. Reassemble.
