Jesus christ, dude. Find a fabricator that isn't legally retarded. Please. You can seriously fab IC pipes with a $95 eBay kit and a hacksaw. It is absolutely stunning how shitty some of these "shops" are.

"Dude" doesn't imply male, it's a race.

LOL

Sucks to hear about your problem but at this point I would not let the shop touch the car. Have you shown them pictures of a already installed/working intercooler setup on a NA. Not that you should have to but at this point well yeah..... Good luck

It sounds to me like the sway-bar is a blockage that needs to be blasted out of the way with a wad of c-notes. I had a similar problem with turbo-parts where there was a hole in the car and it was leaking hundreds out...so I had to jam a few thousand dollars in the hole to stop the leak. Its held up well since I plugged the leak with a wad of cash.

Whats so complicated about that? You have to mount the IC to lower control arms so that it cools well in off-camber corners, unless its setup for drag, in which case you mount it to the block. Use some rubber bushings if you are worried about vibration.

Well, we are "a class or kind of people unified by shared interests, habits, or characteristics" so apparently Miataturbo.net is a race...

I lol'd.. several times.

To the OP, pleasssssssssse take the car to a competent shop or find the time to do the work yourself. The two shops you've had it at so far quite honestly suck... a lot.

SVTKate: Mind if i ask what shops you've went to? Personally, i'd recommend against UMS tuning, if you were to look out of your local area (Tempe). Just want to know who around here to avoid, thank you.

Collective racing- great if you want a 11-12 second honda, not best for miatas, I think mines the 3rd one they've ever done, but they have been really good on pricing and working with me to get things fixed properly, you kinda have to babysit them but they're good guys. Scott the owner, has hooked me up with some really good pricing, and has paid to have my intercooler setup fixed and is trying VERY HARD to make sure i leave there happy. Again, great if you want to mod a honda, probably not a miata.

There's a shop further down 22nd with like 4 miatas sitting out front. Probably a better choice on miata mods, ill check out the name of it next time i pass and maybe go talk to them.

TRD racing did my inter-cooler setup, sick setup, sick welds, but didn't take into consideration a sway bar [not really his fault] and instead of rerouting the inter-cooler setup wants to mount sway bar backwards. Probably best if you want a sick pre-runner/trophy truck setup. Again, probably not best for miatas.

And tuning is Steve Cole, the only one I would trust to tune an AEM. He works for AEM and is a dealer. He charged me $500, for both base tune[includes fixing all the little bugs and electrical gremlins with the AEM] and full tune, and any major mods he'll re-tune for $100, any minor ones he does for free.

Lessons learned, I'm young what can i say... next time I'll either do it myself or do ALOT more research into finding a shop that does the work I need and has done it many times before.

I think this is why it was so easily overlooked. It got lost in a pile of parts, and I don't think they realized what those 4 holes were for lol.

The **** is nothing to do with Honda tuning. This issue has everything to do with them making stupid mistakes, them telling you to pay more, and you doing it. You're the ******* retard.

You need to tone down the motherfucking disrespect and try that again. I shared a block with Tyson for some bullshit assault charges a few years ago and I didn't get raped or wrecked and I'm sure as **** not going to tolerate garbage like "ain't" and "payin" from some power-bottom on my forum. I highly suggest you watch the way you type to me on this forum and afford me and others significantly more respect.
