Looking for a GT wing for my turbo miata

First off I have to say I tried searching, but imagine how many threads show up when you search "gt", let alone "gt wing".

So I decided to bite the bullet and get a big wing for my 215 whp 97 turbo miata. I just want to know if there are any other choices OTHER THAN an apr wing? I really want the 69" NRG wing but the time attack class i'm in doesn't allow wings wider than the car's body. (apparantly miata's are around 65"?)

Has anyone tried ebay carbon fiber wings as well? I know ebay is hit or miss, but I know there are some good stuff on ebay. Are any of the wings on ebay worth it?

I will be mounting it slightly below the hardtop roofline because the rules in my time attack class also say I have to mount below the roofline. According to Emilio, a 2D wing would still be effective right?

Does anyone have any threads that I can read up on to make a more educated decision? And ebay carbon wing, yay or nay? Obviously there are many different wings on ebay. Has anyone had success with an ebay carbon wing?

thanks in advance

Go into the Race Prep section of this forum and start looking around at the Aero sticky. Also search COT wings. There is plenty of information to make a decision if you read through a few threads on there. I have no experience with what you are asking personally, but there are people on here that have done some pretty inclusive testing on wings.

Pull the fenders on each side by 2 inches. Boom 70 inch width.

Ha! If only it were that easy...
