It sounds like you cant afford for you car to be broken or crashed. Which means it sounds like you cant afford to not have a daily driver.

I guess reading comprehension is not one of your strong suits.
It's called a metaphor. I did not state that your car was heavier, I was implying that the idea of having a grippy drifter makes as much sense as having a heavy lightweight car. Had you taken the time to read my previous post, I was offering you advice on how to not waste your money and time like countless others by chasing unicorns. Decide on your goals before you start throwing money and parts at it and you will be much happier in the long run. If you plan on drifting, mod accordingly. If you plan on grip racing, mod accordingly. But you know what, fuck it. Show us all how to make a Miata that can do both grip and drift racing well. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1370891036 |

You know... over on ClubRoadster in the shift knob thread, mods had to warn members to NOT post pictures of their dildo shift knobs.
Because apparently it was a problem enough that something had to be said. OP would fit right in. |
applauds go out to the man who saved that picture hahahahaha

It was a legitimate question. You've made many similar mistakes so far, and figured i'd ask before i made fun of you.

It's funny how everyone thinks that a drift car doesn't need to produce any grip in order to drift.
ZOMG DRIFT CARZ ARE ALWAYZ OUTTA CONTROL THEY HATE GRIP |
You seriously ought to shuffle this mess off to Club Chodester, where drifting is regarded as a legitimate motorsports activity, and not as the mutant offspring of Autocross and Monster Trucks, with a dash of JDM Worship thrown in.. I mean, I oversteer from time to time, it happens. But I also parallel park too, and I ain't building a lifestyle around it.

Im on version 6 of my handbrake, do yourself a favor and just buy a ASD inline hand brake and call it a day, you can get a lay down or vertical version. you have to make it fit and its a bitch.
Mine is vertical with a linkage to a wilwood master cylinder thats is mounted way back on the tranny tunnel near the rear bulkhead. dont use anything bigger than a 5/8(.625) master. i have tried 3/4 and .700 with failure. You need to make about 500psi line pressure to lock the rear wheels at speed. So do some research on pedal ratio and cylinder sizing |
