My new brake setup?
So my fronts are about toast and I need to upgrade so I dont waste anymore on this 1.6 brake system. I'm thinking of doing the Trackspeed BBK for the fronts and the rear sport brakes. I recall reading that a prop valve is recomended for the BBk but since I plan to be upgrading the rears as well could I expect it to be fairly similar to stock bias? I know you can do calculations with caliper picton areas but I'm not sure what that are on the 1.6, wilwood calipers or the rear sport brakes. Anyone care to chime in a share sizes or opinions here? Anyone else running this same setup?

You want the prop valve if you track this car. You also want RB rotors for the track. I overheated my 1.8 rears up to 480*f caliper temps last saturday, so I took out 1, then 2-twists of the brake bias valve and although it made me sad, the heat was manageable. I'm very happy with the trackspeed set-up, very little wear on the pads (2mm or so), no pad taper, and the rotors are very smooth with no heat checks. I've found the happy place with brakes.

So where's the best place to get pads for the wilwood calipers? i know they're sure easy to change so I'm looking for a agressive street pad as well as a light track pad.

Stock pads or something a little better is best for auto x. A track pad needs to much heat to work 100%. My XP8s are not that great for auto x as I never get that much heat in them. But they rock on the track.

So Finally got the Wilwood's on this past weekend with the Prop valve installed with Wilwood pads(Compound E) as well. Yesterday I went to tune them and I still have the stock rears(91). Needless to say I turned as much bias to the rear as possible and I cant get the rears to lock before the fronts. My question to you guys is what will I need? would sport brakes in the rear be enough to make the rears help more or just a simple pad change? Or woud jut upgrading the rears to wilwoods as well be best or overkill?

I had the same issues just with 1.8 brakes and porterfield race pads on all four corners. With all the bias to the back, I could only occasionally lock up the backs first. It's pretty simple though, put a more aggressive pad back there, or upgrade them. I'd make sure you've bleed the system thoroughly first.
