NA Upgrade with Reman Calipers?
 

I have an NA6 with the weeny little brakes that i want to upgrade to the NB8B/Sport brake package. Now down here in Australia the sport brakes are relatively expensive due to the poor peso and generally smaller market. Hence I am considering buying Powerstop or similar reman calipers and just bringing them back in my luggage when I come over for work trips.

However, wondering two things. Firstly none of the reman sites or resellers state which brake size they are for, just the year. From what i have read I think that all 2004 calipers will be the Sport/276mm brakes, whereas other years had crossovers. Is this right for the US market?

Secondly, do these sort of reman calipers come with just the caliper, or does it come with the bracket as well. The powerstop website talks about new calipers and brackets, but I want to be 100% sure before committing to that path.

Anyone done the upgrade with reman calipers?

I got my reman calipers form carid.com and they came with brakets. Then i got rotors form amazon. Where in the US are you heading for work?
