I think you'll find the answers to your questions here.

Christ-almighty... learn how to search.

All your answers and more are at your fingertips.
I mean, I found them a few months back, why can't you?

qax 03-26-2014 08:43 PM

Welp, what do we expect? OP can't even spell DIY right.

robbyptown 03-26-2014 09:21 PM

Whatever...thanks

sixshooter 03-26-2014 09:43 PM

Nobody likes the tuna here, asshole.

Switching to the full NB setup you already have will drop your car an inch or so. Try that.

Then you can ask me how I know where to buy a full set of adjusters and springs for $60. I'd tell you now but you are being quite a dick.

dieselmiata 03-26-2014 09:59 PM

Hey Six! Where can I buy a full set of springs and adjusters for $60? SPOON FEED ME!

You're just teasing the OP right now. You've already read a post or two and know the answer just like most of the forum members. Four coilover adjusters and a set of 400/300 springs brand new for about $60 plus shipping all day as many as you want.

jacob300zx 03-26-2014 11:05 PM

I would just cut the springs

Or buy cheap springs from some cheap place like Summit Racing... ;o) That's OP's first clue.

Ditto, give up the goods.

dieselmiata 03-28-2014 12:16 AM

I bet if you search a few of Concealer's recent threads, (particularly about spring rates) the answer will become glaringly obvious.

GeneSplicer 03-28-2014 12:44 PM

So - after all this researching... 7" or 8" length for 300# rear spring on a MSM Bilstein Sport on a '00 NB (street driven with a slightly lowered look)?
QA1 has both, but was questioning the shorter stroke and perch of the Billi sport rears.

DaveC 03-28-2014 01:11 PM

I think 8" would be too long, so 7".

cordycord 03-28-2014 09:25 PM

Helper springs.

jacob300zx 03-29-2014 06:25 PM

I'm with Cordy run the ebay blue springs/collars with helpers and here is the link, I was joking earlier.

GeneSplicer 03-29-2014 08:55 PM

^^ that's exactly what I bought but in red... not that it matters since those springs will be ditched. Thanks for the input guys

curly 03-29-2014 11:53 PM

Check and double check the slot they milled for your "measurements" (they're worthless). They mill that after cutting the threads, and had enough burrs to gum up the threads pretty bad once weight was put on the springs.

jacob300zx 03-30-2014 09:45 AM

Can I get those red springs from you, I'll pay shipping
