need help on adjusting camber

Ok guys I'm a :noob: at this so go easy on me. I need some help with adjusting the camber on my miata. My front driver side wheel has some bad negative camber (i think that's what it is, it's where the bottom of the wheel sticks out). I took it to a alignment shop and they told me there was no way to adjust it, but I didn't want to believe him because he was a back woods mechanic that was only good when he was working on vehicles 85 and older and if they were American made. I have a set of Racing Beat springs on it that lowered it some and a set of 15x7 wheels on it. Should I just try taking it to a REAL alignment shop or can I adjust the camber myself if so how do I do this? I have looked on here and googled it and can't find what I'm looking for so can anyone help me? I would like to get it close to factory specs.

It can be adjusted. That mechanic fails. There are ways to align it yourself with string and turning the camed bolts on the control arms. I've never done it myself but i'll try to find a link to a thread that discusses it. You can take it to a real alignment shop and itll run you ~~75$ for 4 wheels. If you are a noob at this i'd recommend taking it to a shop unless you are willing to curse at your car for a while.

Make sure the alignment shop checks for bent A-arms and a bent subframe. Too much negative camber is very unusual (most people would die for extra camber!), if you bend the lower A-arm you lose camber. If your eccentric bolts look really rusted like they haven't been touched in years, you might consider spending $6.25 x 8 for a set of new bolts, it'll make the alignment job MUCH easier -- best deal is at Mazda factory alignment bolt 90-05 Miata - NAY9-28-6AZ
