I was setting my ride height today for the first time since putting my SD Bilsteins on with my GC kit. In the rear, to get an even 4.5' ride height, the drivers side is 1cm from the bottom of the threads, and the pass side is 3-4cm from the bottom. The spring on the drivers side is loose when the car is jacked up and the pass side is slightly compressed on full droop. I have ISC top hats.

I am thinking the QA1 springs are worn out? One is stiffer than the other or something needing more coils on the sleeve to obtain the same ride hieght.

That's unusual as the right rear is usually lighter and needs the spring moved down further.

Springs don't wear out unless they rust of are operated outside of their design parameters, assuming proper manufacture IIRC.

If you swap the springs do you get similar (but opposite) results? Are the sleeves mounted in the exact same position on each shock?

I have heard of having the slightly stronger springs on the drivers side for balance but your situation, if it is the springs, sounds more extreme.

No reason for them to have worn out. They only have about 10K on them. Sleeves are positioned the same on both shocks.

I have .25" difference between left and right rear to obtain same height, but definitely not 2-3cm. Swap springs and check again. Put everything side by side and make sure it's all the same. Would the sway bar make any difference? Disconnect it.

Yeah maybe. I'll pull it apart tommorow and check it. I know the springs are the same height for sure.
