P0704 (clutch circuit malf) in manual swapped NB1

A few weeks back I swapped a manual trans and VVT engine into a nice 1999 Miata that I picked up cheap because it was an automatic. I have the speedo and reverse lights working perfectly, and the car drives fine, but the last time I drove it I got a CEL. I pulled the codes and it indicated P0704, which indicates a malfunction in the clutch switch circuit.

I do not currently have a clutch switch, because there's no wiring for it in the automatic harness....

Has anyone determined an 'easy' way to spoof this, as it appears that the ECU will throw the code every ten drive cycles if it doesn't see activity on that circuit? The car will eventually get MS3, but I'm busy getting my NA ready for track season so it's on the back burner for a while.
