Quick! Do I need a 24mm socket, or will a regular 24mm wrench work?

It's my only day off, and I'm going to be upgrading my shifter, and I'd like to change my trans fluid while I'm at it....

The socket set I bought from Wright tools didn't come with a 24mm, only goes up to 22mm (3/8 drive set) but the wrench set I bought does come with a 24mm....

Will there be enough room for me to get a wrench on the drain and fill plug?

Thanks so much guys!

Closed end should be ok, though not real fun to do. Doubt open end will fit up there.

Cool thanks, yeah it's not the right tool for it, so it'll suck!

On my 6 speed I used an adjustable wrench.... I'd say there's room on a 6.

^yeah I forgot to mention I have the 2000 (early 2001) 6 speed

Adjustable wouldn't work on my 2000 6spd, but it sounds like you've got options.
