Default Quick question I need answered ASAP

Sorry to have to make a new thread about it, but I really need this answered stat, and can't find the answer:

Do you have to fill up the shifter turret on the 6 speeds with oil just like the 5 speeds? Or not?

Once again sorry for making a new thread but I've had no luck searching.

Read the "transmission fluid change" links in the m.net "garage" and none of them specify anything about the shifter turret of the 6 speed.
While on the 5 speed fluid change that is specified.

I also read a few posts somewhere (can't recall where) that people said it doesn't require oil (the turret).

I'm really confused

No, fill the 6-speed from the port on the side until it flows out, then you're done. The transmission pulls the fluid up into the turret itself.

Ou can fill the trans through the turret to make life easier too. Sorry for the late reply, I've been on a bender for the last few days.
