Racing Beat Endlinks for installation of NB Front Sway Bar to NA Front
After much searching, I concluded that the end of NB front sway bar is different to NA front. Here's the pic
http://picasaweb.google.com/1957noma...02817294233058 Now, I also read that by changing the front end links to adjustable ones, I will be able to fit NB front Sway bar to NA front. My question is, I also read that racing beat front adjustable link does not swivel to allow me to fit front NB front sway bar to my NA. Can someone confirm that I can use the RB ones before I put in an order for it? These are the ones I am looking at: http://www.racingbeat.com/Miata-1990...ars/54200.html |
That's what I did. NB front bar on my NA with the NB links (shorter than NA links). RB links do swivel, but I would recommend the 949 endlinks over the RB ones.

Can the NB end links fit the NA control arm? I thought there are slight difference? I may be wrong though. This is what I read "Also, the NA lower control arm has two tabs to mount the end link where the NB lower control arm only has one tab." |

it's in Italian, but google translate will help you and the pictures shows perfectly what's up |
Thanks.
I spoke to the guys at RB, the ones they are selling does not swivel enough. They are coming up with new ones that are available end sept. |
I swapped my RB endlinks out for Goodwin endlinks since the 949s weren't available and there was no news of when they'd be available.
The RB endlink current design sucks because the ends aren't threaded oppositely which means you can't simply spin the shaft to adjust them - at some point you need to disconnect one end and spin it around 180* I never could zero-load the front sway bar with the RB endlinks since I needed to make one additional 180* turn but when I did this, I couldn't get that end back on the sway bar. I wouldn't recommend the RB endlinks until this major flaw has been rectified. |

They do the design work, make good stuff, and other people sell 'em. |
