REM Metal Surface Treatment

Has anyone had this done to their diff gears or tranny? Evidently mine has it on both but I was just curious to hear some before and afters. I havent ran my car yet so I have no clue what it feels like.

I think Faeflora had his ring and pinion gears from his diff REM treated.
Personally if I was going to treat the tranny or R&P, I would use WPC treatment as it should improved the strength of the part as well as reduce friction.

Savington's turbo mani was REM'ed. Bitch broke straight away (unsupported EWG dump however).

We REM our steel rockers and camshafts here, makes them nice n pretty. Like anything race, the price/perceived benefit ratio (i.e. "is it worth it") is customer dependent.

I had the 3.6 R&P gears on my '95 CryoREM treated. Can't really give you a before and after though, the gears were brand new when I got them.

Not worth it in my experience. We offer this on our transmission builds and find that it makes no difference in the power handling capability or longevity of the trans.

JeffMan gives a pretty good rem job.
