Default Straight, or not so straight?

Prequel:
Front end mishap seen here:
https://www.miataturbo.net/meet-greet-40/hot-n-fresh-noob-sonora-ca-62037/

Had some free time today and filled it with some tear down action.

I'm worried the sub frame is bent, but can't really tell. The forward most LCA mount sides don't visually look to be perpendicular to me, and everything else doesn't look to be straight. Maybe I'm just being a worry wart. I know it's a bad picture, I'm working with a iPhone in a dimly lit garage.

In reference to the link ^ I bought upper and lower control arms, a new end link, a steering rack and tie rods and a hub.

Think I'll be alright tossing the replacement parts on, or is that sub frame toast?

The picture doesn't tell us much - from your other thread I would expect it to need an endlink and a lower control arm, and then evaluate whether the shock was bent or not once it was out.

The only way to know is to put a new control arm on, hook everything up, and take it to an alignment shop. If something is out of whack, they'll tell you.

The one thing I would replace is the lower balljoint (the one that bolts into the control arm) - even if it doesn't appear bent, it probably is after that impact.

Looks fine to me... If you are talking about that upper control arm mount angling down, that is how it should be. The upper and lower control arm mounts will not be parallel.

I was talking about the forward most of the two lower control arm mounts. The two sides look skewed to me. I'll toss on everything and go get an alignment and hope for the best.

Well, shocks bent. I'm trying to keep this build under a certain budget. Should I just replace this shock, or get all new ones since I know nothing about the condition of the other 3; other than the fact that they're straight.

This is all I know about it; is this the one I would need if I just replaced it?

Or this one:
Amazon Amazon
