RX7 clutch type differential part numbers.

I am currently about to put together my differential, but I wanted to run a few things past some of you all here that has done this swap.

Current parts:
96 NA open differential
96 drive shaft
84 RX7 clutch type differential chunk (3.909 ring gear)
84 RX7 stub shafts
94.5 NA half shafts

Now, I need new differential seals and clips for my stub shafts. I have read many people have had issues with a leaky seal after they do this swap and I am under the impression it is because the RX7 stub shafts have a different oiling pattern on them over the Miata stub shafts.

Are these seals ideal for what I am doing?

Are these the proper clips for my RX7 stub shafts?

I plan on making a video of this process, but I want to be 100% before I put out the information. Thanks!

I run the RX7 clutch type with new mazda seals and my 99 axles (1 piece axles) for years, no leaks.

Great info, do you have any experience with using rx7 stub shafts?

No experience with them. I have 1 piece axles so don't need them. That, and I read wayy to many people that had leaks using stub axles for whatever reason, so I decided to use what I know doesn't leak (99 axles, 99 seals).

I would have gone with the one piece, but I got the two piece at such a good deal and the ease of maintenance is great when removing the diff for whatever reason. I will keep diving into some more literature and see what I find. Thanks for the input though.

If I had to use the stub axles, I'd buy whatever axles seals go with those stub axles. That way they match/should work together.

It seems that some people have success with the NAPA seals.

But they are $38 a piece!

I ran new mazda seals, they were very cheap, like 10 each if I remember right.
