No, though I probably will be selling it soon. (If anyone wants it, lemme know.) I'm done with this one, and am looking for a 49-states '99 or '00 to be the next project.

Is installing the rx7 diff into a maiata 1.8 housing, or something best left to a professional?

There's really no reason to not get a CA spec 99-00 either, since you'll be removing the exhaust manifold anyway.

Not to be an ***, but the old saying holds true here.... "If you have to ask, then you already know the answer"

I've done more then a few rebuilds and still hold my breath when crushing the crush collar

Not true other than painting and welding I've done all of the upgrades and mods on my car to to date. This is just a little different, or I've been given the impression its complicated.

I would probably would have checked the backlash first and then the gear pattern before installing it though. You don't want to install it and find a nasty howl.

Not as complicated as an engine build, but more complicated then a turbo kit install. Do it. If you mess up, my torsen swap setup is for sale.

Bumping this for updates.

Joe,
Have you put it in a car yet? If not, want me to "store" it for you?

Man, you guys are impatient. It hasn't even been six months yet!

I just moved across the country, so everything is in boxes. And I've also decided to sell my current car, so that gearset is going to have to wait for whatever comes next.
