Shocks recommended 2005 Expedition

2005 Expedition with 170K miles. Seems to be thrown around by camper more than in past. Also riding harsher.

Seems to me that shocks are in order.

Looking for recommendations.

Bilsteins? I put the good ones on the Tundra (silver bodies). I think they were the 51000 series or something. Rebuildable, if you care to get them revalved at some point.

Consider adding a rear sway bar if you don't have one. They are helpful for calming a truck when towing.

Do you have a weight distribution system or sway control?

2 years later (but only 5K miles) I finally mounted these shocks. Nice ride improvement. Will pull camper Monday (2 days). I kept putting it off because how to compress those big springs. Then my son-in-law picked this up used:

Made that part of the job easy and safe.

Still, what a job! I don't have a lot of upper body strength and getting those assemblies out and in solo was tough. Then the finale, torquing the lower bolts to 350 ft-lbs. Long cheater bar and nearly all my weight. Done properly with suspension loaded.

Looks like a pretty tough spring compressor, is it branded?
Late model truck springs are under massive compression and can be fairly dangerous to mess with.
I've been waiting for a used Branick compressor for a while but that one looks like it will work fine.

Also, what up with the motorcycle?
Looks like a garden tractor tire on the back???

It will be end of the week before I'm at the shop again. I'll check for a name label. That's a little motorized scooter, I imagine for my grandkids.

EDIT: Looks like an older version

Thank you,
That puppy is 25% of the price of a Branick.
I'm going to order one...
