Ok, Braineak... so by reading your post

Bilstein + stock perch + threaded sleeve from ebay + 7'' springs + NB tophats = 12'' ride height?

Now here is one last question. What bump stops should I use with this combo? What did you use?

Fuck bump stops!

I think you got what I was getting at :) Since I have two collars, the springs are sitting an additional .5" above the perch.

They are about 1/8" above the perch, and since have been lowered from this picture.

For bumpstops I still have the original 54mm Progressive bumpstops from FCM. I just cut them shorter...probably not a smart idea. You should look into his 36mm linear ones. Or FM and Koni and other places sell them as well.

Those look like konis for some reason?

Bilsteins and Konis have different perch heights.. Bilsteins are higher I belive?

Braineack 03-17-2010 01:26 PM

those are konis... you saw my post comparing the spring perches of the konis and bilsteins right?!

with that said, if looks like on the front, the bilstein's perch is level with the lowest KONI:

and on the rear, it's level to the middle KONI perch:

so the moral of the story is, add NB tophats and you'll be fine.
