Stage 2 Clutch
Along with turbocharging my car, I'm gonna want to put a better clutch in it, was thinking a stage 2, any input on a good brand? I've heard Exedy and Centerforce are great, I stumbled across a stage 2 from F1 Racing, it's Carbon Kevlar like many I've seen, but the price is good, and at the same time it concerns me, $132.00 from UltraRev.com.. Exedy is $240, so my concern is with te quality of F1's clutch.. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The only companies you should buy a clutch are FlyinMiata, 949Racing, or ACT. Don't waste a single penny on any other brands.

I personally don't care for lightweight flywheels, but it is a person preference. So I can't really offer any advice on them.
The reason I only suggest those 3 brands for a clutch is because of the amount of work it takes to change one. I have seen to many cheap brands fail and swapping clutches is a good amount of work. It is even worse if you have to pay someone else to do it for you. |

I have been using a factory flywheel and a FM2 clutch in my main turbo car for the past 6 years. My other 2 turbo miata's have a FM1 and an ACT clutch.
