Yes he did. Wannafbody & I spoke today around 3pm pst and they are indeed finally finished... Bernie is again traveling to attend a track event this weekend so I expect Wannafbody's shocks to ship Tuesday at the latest.

Another set was finished but I don't know who's site ID (if any) they belong to... These will ship Tuesday as well.

UPDATE: The last of the Miata legacy orders have been delivered with Wannafbody's arriving today... There are a few outstanding 'legacy orders' but these are for a BMW, a Toyota, and Honda (ShaneJ's). The each have their own separate issues but should soon be resolved.

Miata revalves have been consistently completed within the advertised 10-to-16 business days... So order with confidence and know I set the work schedules so you WILL get your stuff to you on-time!

Lol, two of those other orders are from people I sent him. FML. Shanes and the BMW.

But NO!!!! His shocks are simply THE BEST!!!

You really cant expect this automotive genius to waste his time with simple paying customers. Didn't you hear?! The race shops are his priority AND as stated by the other suckers....I mean buyers, the 8 month wait is WELL WELL worth it.

Holy ****! Good man Rick.

Vendorship cancellations tend to get peoples attention. Just got off the phone with him. I am told he will be handling this guys order.

**** happens. If Bernie @ Steward Development follows up and deals with it, I am ok with him here.

I have no interest in any vendor who would try and scam the people, Bernie is assuring me he isnt and didnt do that, just hit a speed bump in life.

I'm all for second chances and its your playground so it is what it is.

However, after the couple threads that have surfaced and all the talk between them, I would never even think of spending a dime on his "services".

I just always feel the need to pop in and out of this thread, primarily because I like the name Bernie.

Thanks Rick. I've was brought in a few months back to help Stewart Development with customer service, transaction support and process improvement. I've had to deal with several "legacy" issues, of those I've worked (known about) all but three have been resolved with usually with the customer loving the shocks. One is a Honda guy who refuses to pay for the job to be finished, one is a BMW that a swear is almost ready to ship & the last we working on a settlement.

In this and other forums I have posted my info so if anyone has an outstanding issue they can contact me so I can help... I'll research the problem it and get it resolved (disclaimer: it still may take some time). IMO if I don't know about it it's kinda harsh and IMO unfair to take action against Bernie. Regardless, the administrators have and so I'll deal with it & get it fixed.

I GUESS I NEED TO SAY THIS AGAIN:
If anyone has an outstanding issue with Stewart Development, please contact me at Shocks@Weekend-Racer.com with details (rant all you want but please include dates, what you ordered & payment information). I'll do my best to uncover what is going on and what the next step is.

Well I am the BMW guy and I have received no further updates from John to my situation, no communication from Bernie to the status of my order and it has now been almost ONE YEAR since I have sent my shocks to Bernie for revalving. The only bright spot here is the fact that you acknowledge that my order still exists!

John jumped in to do customer service, you are brought in to do customer service and as far as I can tell I am just getting fed information that my shocks may have been worked on, may have been sent out to the machine shop and may be shipped back to me in the future.

Does it take TWO MONTHS to assemble a set of shocks? I have asked for a refund and my shocks back but this request has fallen on deaf ears and never been acknowledged. I have no recourse with Paypal since it has been so long that I can't file a claim so you tell me this isn't a scam?

I gave Bernie the work because after reading about his work here, I thought I would support the small guy instead of sending the shocks back to Bilstein for the rebuild and so far I've been screwed.

Probably not. I'm sure they're sitting in a pile with everyone else's shocks.

Another week passes and no reply from sn8byte or John @ Weekend Racer to my email requests for an update.

I envy those of you that received their order and didn't have to put up with this.

Thread has been moved to the suspension area. Steward Development has been dropped from MT.

Bernie hasnt been on since 8/16/2011, so if thats any indication of his want or care about this thread or the situation then you get where he stands.

Brain and I have terminated his account as well.

At this point you can complain all you want and continue with updates, but its unlikely that he is reading it and or that this gets resolved on MT (but i hope it does).

I can't even believe a guy who had so many people vouch for him would do this.. so lame.
