Suspension bushings, full race car, what is being used??:):)

Any known issues running something simple like urethane bushings, maybe some better than others, etc?

I know I can go all out with rod ends, etc, mod the control arms, whatever it takes but that takes time, sometimes not the best way to go, sometimes a blend of both in the right locations.......

Let me know your thoughts and experiences please:)

Thanks
Rick

It might be a good idea to ask a bunch of questions all relating to the same subject in one thread instead of a new thread for each individual part of your build. This question could easily have been thrown in with your suspension one to keep all the information in one spot.

Perhaps you can PM a moderator to delete this thread, and EDIT your original post in the other thread to include this question, and have the mod change the title of the other thread to something like "LOTS of dedicated track car suspension questions!"

I understand your point, very much so but from another perspective....

I have been a moderator, been on forums since there was such a thing, been involved in build up of a few cars as the first one to modify one, etc.....

Things get overlooked, glossed over, not fully answered, etc.....when grouped together and this is a very serious project. Since all this info is out there and I do not have a great deal of free time to research I want the best info I can find so I can make the best decisions right off the bat:)

If the moderators, admin, etc prefers not so many threads then I will make some changes as to how I post such questions.

Sincerely
Rick

Check out ISC Racings delrin bushing kit. The Diff mount were to bad ass for me so I replaced them with some softer urethane ones, but they have full control arm bushing kits, and they are solid.

I have had good luck with delrin. They're not rod ends, but they come close for far less money. ISC makes good stuff for a great price.
