Default Pressure Plate Wear

Machine shop says I need a new pressure plate because throw out bearing damaged the teeth, thoughts?

its fine. the TOB sits against it, and those marks are where you push into the diaphram.

actually, going through pics I'm more used to seeing it look more like this:



this is what my used PP looked like when I installed it last year. I still wouldn't worry about it.

Cool, I'm having the flywheel resurfaced, is it going to cause issues to not have this PP resurfaced too? Three different machine shops said they couldn't do it.
