Think I have a problem with my clutch/trans/rear end/I have no clue...help please?

So I'm almost done collecting parts for my turbo build but I'm starting to get the feeling there's something up with my drivetrain.

When depressing and letting off the clutch pedal, I hear a low squealing noise. It's not the fork on the slave or the salve itself because I greased up the former and recently replaced the latter. I'm thinking it's the pilot bearing or the throw out bearing.

Second, when shifting through the gears (low rpm's only...and really only between 1st and 2nd) I hear a clicking sounding like teeth of gears touching together. Are the trans/flywheels in these cars noisy from the factory?

The car only has 52000K on it. Am I overdue for a trans service or something? Any fluids, seals, parts or anything else I should be looking to change out?

I really appreciate any input you guys can give me

The squeeling sounds like a throw out to me, i'd definetely dump the fluid when you do the job and put something good back in, redline, royal purple, lucas, etc.

If I'm pulling the trans to do the throw out/pilot, I might as well do the clutch and flywheel too. Any seals or little things I should be replacing while I'm under the car?

Rear main and transmission driveshaft input seal if they haven't been done in the last 30,000 miles.

sooooo (just trying to make a complete list):

flywheel
clutch
throw out bearing
pilot bearing
rear main seal
trans driveshaft input seal
real trans seal
gasket near input seal
trans fluid

throw out bearing....have fun!

Also change the rear trans seal and the gasket near the input seal. I had a similar clicking noise with my abused stock clutch that disappeared after installing an act hd with new bearings.

I strongly recommend pulling the motor instead of getting under the car. Good luck!
