Upgraded Rotor Options

Set of free calipers landed in my hands and there a bit overkill but I'll make them work. We're going to be making the caliper brakets here at CCW and possibly the rotor hats if I need to change some geometery. At any case I hope we don't have to make the rotor hats but wanted to know what type of upgraded rotor options are out there? Single peice or 2pc

I currently have 1.6l rotors so I could upgrade to 1.8l rotors but don't think those are going to cut it at all expecially what we have to do in such a short distance. Need a larger diameter rotor.

You can always use the 10.6 OEM sport brake rotors, they are cheap & readily available.

Caliper braket. If the rotors only and 1" larger than stock there's not much distance to make what needs to be made.

oh, i thought you meant braking in a short distance.

Aren't VW Corrado rotors 11" and easily available at your FLAPS as well? I just looked at a Goodwin BBK last night, fucking $650 for a set of goddamn rotors that I'll still eat to shit with some race pads. :(

Thought I was reading something about that but was unsure. Wilwoods have to be the cheapset; I bought a whole dynalite big brake kit for my 02 civic when I had it and the two calipers, brakets, and 2pc rotors ran $550 shipped. So if I could get the the rotors from that kit or simular they have to be around $250 for both.

You have any idea what diameter the stock NA rotors are?

Yes they are! I'm finishing up the install tonight. Still needs to be tested - but ill post pics + instructions soon.

Basically I needed to fab up hubcentric rings to mount Corrodo rotors and adapter plates to move the factory 1.8 caliper up from centerline.

I may have under $100 into this. :)

Ha! M-Tuned is doing this.

In the interest of letting him bring this to market Ill post pics of the finished product only.
