Using na top hats on nb shocks.

Using na top hats on nb shocks..

I know it can be made to work, but i cant find a picture of what it needs to look like. Something with a big spacer and washer on top? Is it just ot fill in the hole cause the the na ones are concave on top.

Also could i just extend the na top hats to make my own like (ISC)? I know you can burn out the rubber in between the na ones, then push it up and weld it. Netting about 3/4 more travel. I wanted to do that then maybe add like another 1/2 in to 3/4 of tubing in the middle for the rear then weld it to make them more extended.

Does it sound like it would work, and more importantly would it work for nb shocks? Just thought i would try it instead of spending the 100-160 for nb or isc.

you could probably find used / blown shocks with upper mounts for the NB for less than 100.

Partsgroup has a whole set of NB shocks for $99. You could buy that and sell the shocks for cheap and do ok.

NB mounts from finishline are about $100 like you said.

I would worry that you'll lose travel or ride super high using NB shocks with NA mounts.

In any case, it's definitely a downgrade.

I'm pretty sure some people have used ISC top hats with NB shocks.

Yeah i know you can use isc top hats with nb shocks. I just wanted to see people who extented there stock na mounts for more travel.
