V8Roadster Fender Braces-Awesome construction, light and functional. They are also a military friendly company. This is my 2nd car to have these braces.

Remove fender.

Close door and keep closed.

Make sure top two upper hung bolt and nut are torqued to 20 ft lb

Remove lower 2 hinge bolts

Remover lower UPPER hinge bolt

Remove 2 small 6mm bolts by wheel well

Clearance fender seam with grinder or cutoff wheel. You need to remove about 1/2”. It’s obvious where when you position the brace.

Position Brace and LOOSELY install hinge bolts.

Take 5/16th drill and drill one hole using the brace as your guide.

Paint over the areas you cut or drilled.

Install sandwhich retaining plate in backside of engine bay.

Install the two aluminum spacers for the 6mm bolts by the wheel well.

Tighten hinge bolts to 20 ft lbs.

Tighten remaining 2 6mm and 2 8mm bolts.

Minor clearancing of the brace itself might be needed depending upon the age and condition of your car. For mine I had to round the edge a bit where the brace sits in the door hinge. This allowed me an extra 1/2mm or so of play to line the non slotted bolt hole up. Any clearancing needed (if needed) will be obvious and straight forward. When complete check for proper opening and closing of doors. If it is drooping then get a helper and loosen the fender brace bolts. Have helper lift door up and retighten. Making sure the top 2 hinge bolts are properly torqued in the beginning and keeping the door closed until completion should avoid having to adjust the door.

Install time was 2 hours working alone at 2am.
