Default Tire Advice

Short and simple, I need tires for my DD. I have the turbo install coming up and l'll probably do a couple of autox here and there. I have two 15x6 wheels and (2) 195/50/15 brigestone g-force with enough tread left in them. I need another pair but I have a really low budget

These are the tires I can afford at this point. Like I said before I dont have any significant mods in the car yet and I need something that will supplement the other pair of tires I have it rains a lot in miami so wet traction is a +

Please advice

I know my choice is limited, but is ******* scary to the car sideways from shifting from 1st throgh 3nd on a rainy day O_O... is also fun though people look at me like I have a nuclear reactor under the hood

Like I said I understand my choice is limited but I want a tire I wont have to replace shortly after installing the turbo. I guess Im asking for too much

The thing is that I have everything ready for the install. It pisses me off to see all that **** in the garage, is been over a year of collecting all that **** is rather frustrating. Then turbo install inflicts no real cost at this time and I want in the car NOW!!!

I say get the cheapest kicks avail for the 6 inchers. Save your schekels, and get some real rubber on some 8's, then offload the old kit. If you were nearby, I would pity-chuck you some half beat 225 RS2s, and you could scrounge some 8's. You will not get the necessary grip out of the 6's. Post vids of you auto-xing that setup, thanks a bunch.

The tires failed hardcore in the rain and hydroplaned like a bitch and I constantly had to fight for control at like 20mph. I had to pull over and let air out of the tires.

Otherwise they are 'okay'...

Street tires are gay. 200 tread wear or below. Go forth and do good works.

I just took Hoosier R6's off the S2000. They changed my life. I put 255/50-17 Kumho XSs on my RPF1s, and I'm very happy with them after the first couple of days, but I can't comment further than that. I will say (again) that RS2s suck my bigger ball (the right one, for the record). Grip sucks, feel sucks. Moderate lateral grip is their only redeeming factor, but they don't even really have much of that. And I only got about 8000 miles and 4ish autocrosses from 'new' to 'spun out in traffic in a faint drizzle' scary.
