What other cars are a factory front brake upgrade?

I've seen some of your sigs say you have a "Corrado BBK."
What exactly does this entail? Are there any other cars that lend themselves easily to upgrading the front brakes on 96 Miata?

Thanks!

that tells all

Excellent thanks!

That will do stock calipers - our original Trackspeed BBK put a Wilwood caliper on a Corrado rotor as well.

Zimmerman Sport Cross drilled for a G60 are only 74$ each. That's not a terrible price, I'll have to look into this kit mentioned by Madvillian. Thanks again guys!

Perfect timing
Attachment 190485
TSE's Corrado kit. Gives you the bigger rotor and gets rid of pad taper.

Sorry to go OT but what is the part number on the Wilwood Dynalites included in TSE's kit? I didn't see it on their page. I'd rather just purchase the brackets and piece together the rest over time.

120-6806

You'll need the brackets, centering rings, and brake lines from TSE. Source the calipers, pads, and rotors yourself.

Raybestos G60 rotors from Rockauto were $32 each. They've also lasted longer than the others I've tried with no warping on cracking yet.

I'm getting $27.79, am I looking up the wrong part?
VW-1990-Corrado-Brake-Rotor?

Looks to be the only Raybestos front rotor option.

Then $27, whatever. For the record these rotors got the job done on every track but one.

They make something like this for the 1.6 NA?

crashnscar 04-19-2011 11:23 PM

Brakes will bolt up the same to any NA (90-97) and NB (99-05), so anything in this thread will bolt up to your 1.6 NA.

I had thought about using an NX2000 rotor similar to the Corrado setups, but i don't really have the means to make it happen.
