Is English not your *native language?

If not, what's your excuse for sucking at it so badly?

*for what it's worth, just about every non-native English speaker I've seen on this board has had a better grasp of the language than you're demonstrating.

Check out good springs for all the information that you could want about "whats good springs".

"what is good springs"

seriously?

What are some good springs, would be a much better way to word it. Try searching noob. FM, racing beat, ground control, tein, whatever. All require upgraded shocks.

I know you have no friends other than your buddies on AIM, but please try and use some decent grammar and punctuation on this website. If you don't have enough time to actually type out words and insert an apostrophe or two, you might look into changing up your busy schedule of video gaming and couch testing. Since I'm not a complete asshole, I really suggest upgrading shocks when you do springs, go much stiffer than stock rates and you will get bounce, which makes a car very difficult to control properly. ;)

Take your insultingly inadequate grasp of the English language and your sexual turbo fetishes and go back into the hole you came from.

I have fm springs with agx shocks. Not SLAMMED or anything special, but they were cheap and improved my cars stance a bit.

Hey ------,
No one here wants to hear you go on and on about your ---- fissures. STFU and never post shit like this again, or it will be the last time you fuck up like this.

Braineack 03-16-2009 09:04 AM

rofl. chill out guys.

only response needed was: clubroadster.net

gospeed81 03-16-2009 09:27 AM

If you're cheap, which you've stated...and an idiot, which is obvious...just cut your stock springs and to hell with it.

If you decide you want to communicate in a way we can actually understand, and wish to learn about proper suspension setup which will attain better handling, and a lower, more aggressive stance, then try searching. I hate to say this, but miata.net actually has a shit-ton of threads on cheap, but decent setups.

They all involve upgrading shocks, and atleast bumpstops, if not mounts as well. They also all involve paying attention to spring rates, dampers that are suitable for them, suspension travel of your modded setup, and a proper alignment afterwards.

1.8-m 03-16-2009 09:29 PM

yea im not cuting springs.. if im that cheap i might as well buy ebay coil overs right?
i think i may go with set of tein springs

sixshooter 03-16-2009 09:36 PM

Welcome. Enjoy your stay.

if you think you can slap some springs on the car and it will handle better... you own the wrong car. The miata is crazy sensitive to suspension changes. There is a reason there is such an amazing wealth of knowledge about shock dyno curves, spring rates, alignment settings, etc. for our cars - because it matters soooo much for them. After 5 months without an alignment my car handles drastically different than it did right after the alignment. During race season I get an alignment every 3 races because it will literally matter that much. EVERY cheap "performance" spring out there is a HORRIBLE choice for a miata if you do not also upgrade to shocks designed for the appropriate spring rate as well as shock mounts and aftermarket bump stops depending on your goals.

If you have all stock suspension components under your car and you put a set of Tein springs on like the s-techs, your car will literally handle worse. As in, it will actually not be ultimately as fast around a corner as it would have been with the stock springs.

Welcome to needing to actually... care.

which car are you "racing?" Are you using different alignment specs for each track or something...why do you need such frequent alignments?

-hustler

p.s. I gave your girlfriend a pelvic alignment.
