Oh yeah you totally sound like a smart, intelligent, mature, and established business man.

We all need to take lessons.

The word "drifting" brings out the D-bags of this forum.

Because its a MIATA Forum.... The miata is a Damn near perfectly engineered TRACK car. If you have to modify it THAT drastically to "drift" then MAYBE people shouldnt be drifting the miata. You shouldnt have to get modified steering knuckles, weld the diff, or extend the tie rods in order to drift. Yeah, the 240 guys may do these mods as well, but it doesnt make it right. lol That, and People who drift miatas have to work harder to do so, and it doesnt look as "cool" while doing it, because the Miata doesnt have enough *** to throw out there. short wheelbase with 50/50 weight distribution, makes for a car that can only go HALF as sideways as the other cars, and not look HALF as "good"

So a Miata is damn near perfect and shouldn't be modified , that's why your on a turbo forum? Cause your car is a gutless wonder and it needs more power, that's why you came here? You shouldn't need expensive coilovers or R compound tires to take a corner right? Your a retard, go back to your bench Forest.

And further more, I love how you hate drifting then proceed to tell what looks better. Every car is different miatas trade angle for speed. I personally like the higher speed over show boat angle

Any car could use a modified suspension and good tires..... Even more power...

You shouldnt have to change so much on a car, just to put it in the wall, and not look HALF as "cool" as the other cars doing the same thing...
and more speed over angle is GREAT..... for plowing into a wall, or another dorifto machine

and.... its you're.... as in, you and are, crammed into one word....

Sorry I decided to skip the English major to become a machinist, much more worth while profession if I say so myself. Everyone modifys their cars to suit the aspect of driving they do.

By what your saying YOU'RE telling drag racers they are idiots for tubing the rear end and running a 4 link solid axle because the car wasn't built like that. Or YOU'RE saying that E-production Miatas are a joke cause they cut the windshield off .

Adding steering angle is common with drifting , you don't feel you need it then stop wasting your time making retarded comments and go back to your bench and have a chocolate .

If you don't want to be harassed about English, then ignore the people who call you out on it and fix it. If you do want to be harassed about it, then yell at the people who call you out on it and don't fix it.

If you want to look like a fool and continue being harassed, I highly recommend that you proceed to act aggressively defensive of every single comment which is directed your way. We expect middle-school-aged boys to act this way, not skilled and experienced machinists. Which are you?

It's fun to poke helpless trolls and watch them squirm. It's akin to a group of nerdy kids walking up on the bully on the playground, but the bully is hog-tied and has duct tape over his mouth.

You don't come here into our treehouse and tell us how to run it. You can ask if we're interested, and if you feel insulted by our responses then you go climb the treehouse next door. If you start calling Mikey names, then Billy and Sam are going to throw you down the ladder.

if a miata is such a great drift car, why are you parting out and selling yours?

You didn't use capitalization, and write as if an ellipsis is the same as a period. Why correct grammar when yours is lacking?

Good luck OP, check into being a site vendor if you are serious about selling parts.

I can respect ctd because he's a rare case. A LARGE majority of that crowd just causes us to pay more for our cars. All rear wheel drive older cars now have drift tax. Awesome.

I was typing lower case, as if to simulate speaking in a low-volume monotone voice.

Much like when people get angry, and e-yell like

Y U SO MAD ABOUT MAH MAD TYTE DORIFTO MACHINE?!?!? IF I WANT CRASH IN WALL AND RUIN MAH BEAUTIFUL KAR, I WILL DO SO!!!!!!!!

But, that's all e-talk

This. VERY true, its getting to be impossible to find a RWD tuner car for a decent price, or at least what they are worth. All the Crashing into walls and stuff is making them rare as hell. I just passed up buying an S14 Nissan with the silvia front end for $1000, and i wish i hadnt. I could have gotten it running, and sold it for 4 times as much.
Honestly, i just didnt have the $1k at the time, otherwise i would have done so. School is more expensive now than it was just 6 years ago. lol

You posted on MT.net about drifting. With a username that includes "JDM" and a brand that makes bodykits. You use really poor punctuation in all your posts. And you plan to try and sell parts to people on here? I don't know how serious you are about making a business out of this, but you haven't tried to come across as professional, or bothered to tailor your message to the different communities. So it seems like you aren't too serious.

Out of the handful of people that I know that have built a successful business out of selling stuff on forums they have all been professional and communicated well. Even at the very beginning of their business.

But if you are serious I suggest you is look into adjustable parts. Maybe some adjustable rear control arms to get more camber adjustment?
That will get the hellaflush crowd in for max camberzzz and drift kids wanting less camber to get the most out of their tyres while still having their car stupid low. You might even get a few high powered cars wanting to experiment with less camber out back. Make them light weight and you might have a winner. There aren't very many options out there for miatas when compared to other cars so you wont have too much competition.

I'm not that into drifting, and I don't like the idea of professional drifting. But I think we've all enjoyed kicking the back out around corners before. To some people that's more fun that going around the same corner fast. And when I've riden shotgun on track in a setup car I can see the fun. Coming into a corner at 80kph at a 60 degree angle and feeling the car hold when it should be spinning is a crazy experience. At least these guys are enjoying driving their cars. So how about we cool our jets. I mean, come on.

^ +1 I'm cool with people being into organized drifting. I don't care for it much, but to each his own. HOWEVER, don't come to a forum dedicated to road racing and expect not to get some comments. Either stay away from this crowd or just ignore the haters. ctdrftna, I really respect your decision to part out. I/we don't like to see it go and most of us are just giving you a hard time because we like you and your car.
