Wilwood cotter pin size?
I'm a child and don't want to wait until I get home to measure the cotterpins that came with my Dynalites.
I see multiple options for "Dynalite cotter pin" on Amazon in various lengths, namely 2.5", 3.0", and 3.5". I think 3" is the right size (p/n 180-0055), but I just wanted a sanity check before I press buy. Thanks, mates. |
I used the 180-0056/120-6814

Sav set me straight, it's the 180-0055 like I thought.

What he said.
I had to modify mine. Torque them all sorts of weird angles to shorten the tail of the 180* bend, and then I sharpened the end so it would slide in easier. |

I wish the Dynalite's used the "W" shaped cotter pin like the Dynapro's I had on my BMW.

I found that the QR pins hang up on the pads. I had one almost come out because the pad hooked on it and had started to pull the pin out of the caliper. Ditched them immediately and went back to cotter pins.
Good to know, will ask Emilio for an exchange before shipping... |
