Ebay somewhat Emergency Diff question

I really need help on this one. ok its 2 am, been working on swapping the new 05 mazdaspeed differential I purchased online. Went mostly smoothly, hooked everything back up, but now the wheels dont move, the drive shaft moves when in gear, but there just seems to be some whinning/grinding type noise coiming from the dif. I was told the axles are from an NB a 99 or 03. Anyone got any ideas as to why its not working. The dif has plenty of oil, the axles seem to seat well into the diff, not sure if they may not be the right size, but they seem to seat fine. All I know is, I put the car in gear, driveshaft moves a lot, yet no movement on the tires, forward or reverse. I did a bit of research on the subject but not turning up a lot of results. Any update would help. thanks, Aaron

MSM diff has specific axles that fit it.
So no your random 99 NB axles won't fit.

Yup, MSM axles are bigger on the diff. side. You need to find a pair.

If you don't have ABS and you get ABS axles, most of the time you can hammer the toothed wheel off.

The difference between ABS and non ABS axles is usually only the toothed wheel on the wheel side of an ABS axle. This is usually pressed on. It may get in the way if you have a non ABS car. You can hammer it off/break it off/whatever you want.
